317L stainless steel

317L Stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel based on molybdenum. It has stronger resistance to chemical corrosion compared to conventional chromium nickel austenitic stainless steel such as 304L stainless steel. In addition, compared to conventional stainless steel, 317L stainless steel has higher ductility, stress corrosion resistance, compressive strength, and high-temperature resistance.

Application area 

317L stainless steel has better corrosion resistance compared to 316L stainless steel, and is used in equipment that requires high corrosion resistance such as ships and chemical products. It can also be applied to large-diameter butterfly valve components.
