1. The thickness of the substrate and the thickness of the film

The color steel sheets is composed of a substrate and a color coating or plating. The film thickness of the good quality color board is 0.02~0.05mm, and the coating thickness is less than 0.15mm. The low-quality color steel sheet reduces the thickness of the substrate and increases the thickness of the film to reduce the production cost of the color steel sheet, which reduces the service life of the color steel sheet.

2. The exposed edge of the color steel sheet

When I get a color steel sheet, I first observe whether the exposed steel such as the cross section of the color steel sheet is finely crystallized, whether it is gray, dark, and impurities. If the cut surface is crystalline and dense, the quality is superior.

3. Sound

Tap the color steel plate with your fingers or with a hard object. If the material of the color steel sheet is poor, the sound will be dull, and the metal sound is not obvious. The metal sound of the color steel sheet with better material is relatively loud and crisp.

4. Quality certificate

Product quality inspection certificate. Try to go to the color steel plate manufacturer for on-site inspections.

5. Look at the price

If the price of one kind of color steel sheet is much lower than others, then we must pay attention to product quality.
