Ferroalloy
Metal products such as ferrochrome, ferromanganese, and ferrosilicon are typically used as raw materials for various stages of stainless steel manufacturing.
Ferrochrome
Chromium iron is a common raw material in the production of stainless steel plates.
Ferrous
It is a metal material mainly composed of iron.
Processing facilities
The processing facility will process semi-finished stainless steel into a usable form. These facilities include rolling mills, pickling lines, tandem mills, annealing equipment, and annealing machines.
Flat stainless steel (flat products)
This is a category of stainless steel plates, including the shapes of sheets, strips, and plates.
Forging
To form a fixed shape of hot or cold metal by hammering, upsetting, or pressing.
Forming
It is a process of applying force (cold forming, hot forming, wire forming) to cause changes in the shape of stainless steel plates.
Dirt
Dirt refers to the accumulation of deposits immersed on the surface of stainless steel plates. Dirt also typically refers to the accumulation of inorganic deposits on the surface of stainless steel.
HARP
It is an abbreviation for "hot rolled annealing and pickling".
Hardness testing
Hardness testing involves pressing the indenter into a flat surface under fully controlled load, and then measuring the size of the resulting indentation. The three most commonly used methods for stainless steel plates are Rockwell B, Rockwell C, and Vickers testing. The higher the value, the harder the material.
Heat treatment
By subjecting stainless steel plates to a series of temperature changes, the properties of stainless steel are changed. The function is to increase the hardness, strength, or ductility of stainless steel, making it suitable for other applications.
Hot rolled strip (hot-rolled stainless steel plate)
The stainless steel plate has been rolled on the hot rolled strip mill. It can be sold directly to customers or further processed into other finished products.
