Hot-dip galvanized coil "spangle" classification

Spangle is a surface morphology of hot-dip galvanized coils. When the steel sheets passes through the zinc liquid, the surface is coated with liquid zinc. Then, during the natural solidification of the zinc layer, the zinc grains nucleate and grow Spangles appeared in the shape of snowflakes.

Normal spangle: Normal spangle is the spangle obtained by condensation of the zinc layer after galvanizing. Now normal spangle products are mainly used in constructions and other occasions where there is little direct contact with the human body.

Small spangles: It is required to control the solidification process of the zinc layer to obtain relatively uniform and small spangles, but still visible to the naked eye

Zero Spangle: Spangle-free products mainly use special production technology to control the spangle in tiny spangles that are invisible to the naked eye.
