Low carbon stainless steel specific grade

Low carbon stainless steel refers to austenitic stainless steel with carbon content less than 0.03% or ferritic stainless steel with carbon content less than 0.01%, which has very low susceptibility to intergranular corrosion.

Specific brand, characteristics and application of low carbon stainless steel :

301L, with good intergranular corrosion resistance and weldability, used for railway vehicles.

304L has excellent intergranular corrosion resistance, and no heat treatment is required after welding.

316L has good corrosion resistance. Good welding performance, suitable for multi-layer welding, generally without heat treatment after welding, and no knife edge corrosion tendency after welding

904L is fully resistant to sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, acetic acid and other corrosion, and can also solve the problems of chloride pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion.

317L has good intergranular corrosion resistance and is mainly used for condensation pipes in power plants.

SUH409L has good welding performance and is used for automobile exhaust treatment device.

SUS410L has good bending and processing properties at the welding position. It is mainly used in the container industry.
