3. Temperature difference between day and night
Large temperature difference is easy to dew, forming corrosion conditions on the bare metal. The large temperature difference leads to frequent cold and hot deformation of the coating, which will accelerate the aging and loosening of the coating, and the external corrosive medium is easy to penetrate into the base material.
4. Sunshine duration and sunshine intensity
Sunshine time and intensity affect the stability of coating structure, especially in the area with strong ultraviolet radiation.
5. Rainfall and acidity of rainfall
The high acidity of rainfall is certainly unfavorable to corrosion resistance. However, rainfall has a dual effect. For the wall panel and roof panel with large slope, rainfall can clean the surface of steel plate and wash away the corrosion products on the surface. However, for the roof panel with low slope and the parts with poor drainage, heavy rainfall is easy to cause corrosion.
6. Wind direction and speed
The wind will lead to the loosening of the joint, which will damage the coating of the color coated steel plate and cause corrosion.
7. Corrosive deposits
For example, chloride ion and sulfur dioxide can accelerate the corrosion, and these deposits mostly occur in the coastal areas and areas with serious industrial pollution (such as power plants, smelters, etc.).
8. Influence of construction design on service life of color coated steel plate.
Whether the coating is damaged during processing, when the coating is brittle under low temperature, the surface damage is caused by dragging the steel plate during processing and installation, the structural welding iron chips fall on the coating during installation, and the roof panel is not cleaned after construction. This will cause corrosion of the material.
9. Building orientation, slope and sunshine time will affect the durability of the coating. The slope also affects the settling time of corrosive medium or dust on the steel plate.
In Plateau and low latitude areas with strong ultraviolet radiation, coating with excellent durability (PVDF coating, HDP coating, SMP coating, etc.) should be selected for color coated steel plate.
