Role of cuprum in stainless steel

Cuprum plays an important role in corrosion resistance, ductility, stamping performance and antibacterial performance of stainless steel.

1. Improve the corrosion resistance of stainless steel (Less obvious than nickel chromium)

2. Improve the stamping performance of stainless steel and make non-standard fasteners

3. Improve the ductility and yield properties of stainless steel

4. Adding cuprum into antibacterial stainless steel has better sterilization effect

5. In stainless steel, cuprum can cause precipitation hardening reaction of various elements and                enhance the tensile strength of stainless steel
