Stainless steel Inspection Certificate 1-4

Jul 25, 2023

The quality assurance certificate for stainless steel products is a product's ID card, which proves that the product was produced by a legitimate steel factory according to normal process flow. For users of trading platforms, it is equivalent to a resume, which is used to screen suitable products and apply them in appropriate places.

Detailed interpretation.

01.Production factory

The steelmaking characteristics of different manufacturing units in steel mills vary. Based on the characteristics of the manufacturing units, select the product with the best cost-effectiveness.

02.Ordering steel grade

By ordering standards and grades, the performance and use of materials can be preliminarily determined, but familiarity with each standard is required.

The requirements for grade, surface, element content, and mechanical properties of materials of the same level in different standards are not the same.

03.Heat No

In general, steel mills use furnace numbers to manage the smelting composition, and according to the different converter sizes of each steel mill, the steel output of the same furnace number varies.

04.Physical roll number (bundle number) or batch number

The steel factory can trace the manufacturing process of the coil in each process based on the coil number to see if there are any abnormalities.

05.Specification (mm)

The material thickness and width in the quality assurance certificate are usually the theoretical (nominal) thickness and width, while the actual thickness (tolerance) and width need to be judged based on the thickness tolerance requirements.

06.Weight (Ton)

Different product forms may have different weighing methods, mainly divided into physical weighing and theoretical weighing. The weight calculation method is generally agreed upon before ordering.

07.Electronic labels

The anti-counterfeiting measures adopted by various steel mills may vary, and currently, QR codes and certificate numbers are generally used for anti-counterfeiting.

By scanning the QR code through software, material related information can be obtained. By comparing the relevant information with the warranty information, it can be determined whether it is true or not or whether it matches the transaction material information.
