Stainless steel plate leveling process

Among them, leveling is the last process of stainless steel cold-rolled sheet, and it is the last process of cold rolling. There are three main reasons.

The first aspect is to improve the mechanical properties and ensure the formability of cold-rolled stainless steel sheets

The second aspect is to modify the shape of the plate to obtain a flat cold rolled stainless steel plate. The shape of the cold-rolled plate after annealing and pickling is generally not ideal and needs to be corrected by leveling.

The third aspect is to perform surface processing on stainless steel cold-rolled sheets according to customer requirements and improve the surface quality. According to different purposes, stainless steel has a smooth surface (such as 2B, BA plate) and a matt surface. The light panel requires a good finish and is leveled with a roll with a high degree of finish; while the matte panel is a matte board that is leveled with a roughened roll. In addition, some surface defects can also be improved by leveling down.
