Age hardening

Martensite stainless steel plate hardens by heating to exceed the critical temperature, maintains it in the heating state, ensures uniform temperature, and rapidly cools by quenching in air or oil.

Alloying element

In the production of stainless steel, various alloy elements can be added to increase hardness, strength, or corrosion resistance. Molybdenum, nickel, and chromium are common alloying elements in stainless steel.

Annealing (solution annealing)

Stainless steel is a process that achieves maximum flexibility and ductility through heat treatment, which also produces a uniform structure (austenitic grade) or a 50/50 mixture of austenite and ferrite (duplex grade). It reduces the stress generated during the cold working process and ensures the maximum corrosion resistance of the material.

Anodic protection

Promote oxidation performance, enhance polarization with oxidation potential, and reduce corrosion rate.

Argon oxygen decarbonization (AOD)

A method for further reducing the carbon content in stainless steel plates during the refining process. AOD is closely related to Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), but the operating time is shorter and requires lower temperatures.

Austenitic stainless steel

Non magnetic stainless steel containing nickel and chromium is sufficient to form and maintain austenitic phases at room temperature. Austenitic stainless steel is the most widely used type of stainless steel.

Automatic measurement control

Hydraulic roller force system allows stainless steel manufacturers to monitor the thickness of stainless steel plates as they move through the rolling mill. The gap sensor of the computer adjusts and monitors 50 to 60 times per second.

Stick

Stainless steel grows from billet to shape. They can be round, square, hexagon, octagon or flat, hot or cold ends.

Strip

Rectangular metal, usually stainless steel, used in construction.

Billets

A type of semi-finished stainless steel used for long products such as bars and forgings. The blank is usually 2 to 7 square inches.

Partially Prepared Products

A type of semi-finished stainless steel that will be further processed into ground products. Usually has a cross-sectional area greater than 36 square inches.
