The 200 series austenitic stainless steel

The 200 series austenitic stainless steel is developed on the basis of chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel, adding manganese and nitrogen to the steel instead of nickel. In addition to manganese, there is also nitrogen, and generally there is an appropriate amount of nickel (4% ~6%). This series of stainless steel is suitable for use on equipment and components that bear heavy loads but do not require high corrosion resistance. The 200 series stainless steel has the non-magnetic characteristics of austenitic steel. The corrosion resistance is significantly lower than that of the 300 series stainless steel, and the range of use is limited.

Advantage
