What does stainless steel 304DQ and 304DDQ mean

304DQ = 304 + copper

304DQ is a high-end derivative of 304 stainless steel, mainly adding the alloy element copper (Cu). The elongation of 304dq is more than 60% compared with 304 stainless steel. It has good surface quality and deep drawing performance. It can be used for bending and is suitable for containers with large tensile strength.

304DDQ

304DDQ refers to the material used for ultra deep drawing (punching), that is, the so-called soft material. 304ddq is characterized by high elongation, low hardness (≤ 170%), internal grain grade between 7.0 ~ 8.0, very good deep drawing performance and slightly poor polishing performance.
